Terms
# Terms of Service
**Seller:** LessonCaption, operated by the main company. These terms apply when you use the LessonCaption webinar transcription and caption-file service. They take effect when published and accepted. The service is not open for recording uploads until its site identifies an active support contact and its payment, upload, security, and transcription-provider settings are ready.
## Service and plans
LessonCaption is intended to convert customer-supplied webinar or lesson recordings into text transcripts and SRT/VTT caption files. It is a publishing aid, not a legal, accessibility, translation, editorial, or certification service. Creator is planned at US$29 per month for up to 1,500 audio minutes. Studio is planned at US$59 per month for up to 3,000 minutes and is offered only when its advertised features are operational. The checkout page controls what is actually available and must show the price, included minutes, billing period, and any limits before purchase. No overage is charged unless the checkout clearly discloses and you affirmatively accept it; otherwise processing pauses at the included limit. We may reject unsupported formats or files that exceed disclosed limits.
## Your permissions and responsibilities
Before every upload, you must confirm that you have all necessary rights, lawful authority, and speaker notices and consents to record, submit, transcribe, and create captions from the recording, and to instruct our service providers to process it. You are responsible for the recording and its contents, including copyright, privacy, confidentiality, and publicity rights. Do not upload unlawful material, material you are not authorized to use, or information about children. Do not use the service to identify a person biometrically, infer sensitive traits, make consequential decisions, or support a regulated or high-risk purpose. Do not submit highly sensitive information unless the service expressly accepts it in writing. Tell speakers what processing will occur where required by law.
## Accounts, processing, and outputs
Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You retain rights in your uploaded content and outputs to the extent you hold them. You authorize LessonCaption and its disclosed service providers to process content only to provide, secure, and support the service and as described in the Privacy Notice. Audio is not sent for transcription until payment has succeeded and the required provider terms and privacy settings have been verified. Transcripts, speaker labels, timestamps, and captions can contain errors. You must review outputs, correct them where needed, and independently determine whether they suit your intended use. We do not promise a particular accuracy, turnaround, uninterrupted availability, or legal compliance result.
## Subscription, cancellation, and refunds
Subscriptions renew for successive monthly periods at the price shown at checkout until cancelled. You authorize recurring charges through the selected payment provider. Cancel using the account or cancellation method shown before purchase; cancellation stops the next renewal but normally leaves access through the paid period. We do not charge for undisclosed overages. Refund handling is set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing here removes any non-waivable consumer right, including applicable rights to cancel, obtain a refund, or receive remedies for faulty services.
## Availability, suspension, and liability
We may suspend or reject a file or account where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, provider limits, non-payment, or breach of these terms. We will use reasonable efforts to explain material service changes and to address paid jobs that fail, subject to applicable law. To the extent the law permits, LessonCaption is provided without a guarantee that outputs will be error-free or fit a particular purpose. We are not liable for decisions made from unreviewed outputs, loss caused by content you were not authorized to submit, or indirect or consequential loss. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer remedies, or liability for fraud or intentional misconduct where exclusion is prohibited.
## Changes and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and giving notice where required. Material changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights. Questions and notices may be sent through the support/contact channel displayed on the service; if no such channel is available, uploads and paid service are not yet open. These terms are subject to mandatory laws and rights that apply where you live; nothing here limits those protections.
